Each client that we work week is different. Some have more knowledge of our industry and some don’t. CJ and Matt weren’t looking to purchase a home, CJ had just gotten a job with Suntrust so he had to transfer to Virginia. Matt works mostly from home for a company based out of Dallas. Both of the companies that they work for specialize in mortgages so they have knowledge on how that process works. This wasn’t Matt’s first home, in fact, he’s had experience with several transactions. CJ however has never owned a home so it was a pretty exciting purchase for him. This is their story as told by a third party.
One day, CJ was looking through Zillow out of curiosity and found a home that he’d like to be shown. Through a friend, he was introduced to Wanda Fears and Associates. At this point you could ask yourself, “Well, couldn’t they have gone without an agent? One of them is a seasoned buyer and both of them work in the mortgage industry." When asked why they thought it was smart to have an agent their response was, “Because we understand the value of having one, they can bring knowledge of the industry that no one has access to." In their case, it’s the fact that they are familiar with this industry that makes them realize that it’s not smart to go into a big purchase, like buying a home, alone.
The property that they looked at was nicknamed “The Church” for very obvious reasons. It was pretty much love at first sight. The members at Wanda Fears and Associates were available to them at all times, even when CJ and Matt’s schedule didn’t always match up. They visited the property a few times before they made a decision— they wanted to buy it! As they started getting excited about their new home, they explained that they were right as far as hiring an experienced agent help them throughout the process. They needed Wanda Fears and Associates to mediate between the condo association and their president, something that they weren’t accustomed to doing themselves.
As the process continued, WFA was able to go over the different closing options available to them, at every point in the transaction feeling at ease and that the process went smoothly. The way CJ expressed his experience with Wanda was that, “she always had our best interest in mind,” and anyone that has dealt with realtors in the past can tell you that this doesn’t always feel like it’s the case. Not only was WFA able to provide a smooth and painless experience but they were fully aware and sensitive to their individual needs and completed the buy in a comfortable timeline.
