Museum District 22nd Annual Mother's Day Home & Garden Tour

Wanda Fears & Associates are so happy to be one of the sponsors of this year's home and garden tour of Richmond's Historical Museum District!  One of my Associates, Carmen Noviskey, is very active with the Museum District Women's Club and often has the opportunity to see remodeled, rehabed, and restored homes in the area.  Now the opportunity is open to the public!  This year a brand new home will be featured as well!  So come see the old and the new this Mother's Day, May 8th!

Purchase tickets online, or at one of the vendors listed below.

2016 Museum District Mother's Day House & Garden Tour

Now in its 22nd year, the 2016 Museum District Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour provides a rare opportunity for guests to go inside some of Richmond’s most beautiful and historic homes, gardens, and institutions. The tour is not just about beautiful homes; each year, proceeds from this annual event are reinvested in our neighborhood for beautification and enhanced safety.

We have 9 homes featured on the tour, including the newest home in the Museum District, just completed in 2015. An additional highlight of the 2016 tour is "Art in the Alley", a private collection of South American-inspired wall art created by a Museum District resident and local artists. Be sure to take advantage of the tour trolley that will run continuously between 1-6PM, making stops at each home on the tour and the Virginia Historical Society.

The Mother's Day House & Garden Tour supports neighborhood maintenance and beautification projects as well as local nonprofits. Previous recipients have included Albert Hill Middle School, William Fox Elementary PTA, Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital, ACTS, Fan Free Clinic and the FRIENDS Association for Children. Thank you for your interest in this special event.
